Chinese American Data Science and Engineering Association(CADSEA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a platform for education, research, technical innovation, and leadership development in data-related professions. We are experiencing the fast-growing power of data in every corner of our life. Future will be even more so. We are inspired to build the community for professionals and enthusiasts of data science and data engineering by integrating the three core dimensions of the entire data ecosystem – academia, industry, and talent, so that we can be better prepared and equipped to embrace the challenges of wisely leveraging data and serve the world around us. CADSEA is a member-based organization. Our membership is open to data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, other professionals, students, and anyone who are interested in data science and data engineering.

About Us
CADSEA was founded by a group of data professionals from Washington DC area in 2019, and we consist of a board of directors and an operation team.
Board of Directors
The board of directors is the governing body of CADSEA. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for determining the organization’s mission and purpose as well as overseeing the organization’s operations and activities.
Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee is a collection of individuals who bring unique knowledge and skills which augment the knowledge and skills of the formal board of directors in order to more effectively guide the organization.
Operation team
The operation team is responsible for conducting the day-to-day operations to ensure that the organization achieves its objectives.
